Rebekah in Gen. 24

Really good read this morning in Gen. 23 and 24 about Abraham, his servant and the selection of Rebekah as the wife of Isaac. We should be as specific when in prayer and talking to our children about their mates/dates. Also, Rebekah meets the need/needs right away when she sees them - she is accomplishment oriented. Sounds just like Lori:)




In verse 52-67 - she is so blinding faithfilled and obedient  She heard the servants story and his prayer to the God of Jacob.  I choose to believe she was actually choosing to obey God rather than Abrahams command.  Notice her loving family - they did not send her alone but with her servants and her nurse since birth.  Her parents made sure she was well equipped.  I hope to do the same for Ashtyn.  She is my world you know!
